Treatment for Documentary Film

From my research getting 30 out of my 50 questionnaires filled in by the public I thought this would be enough for my research. As I analysed my results it gave me a great idea for my documentary. As I found out from my research that the majority of my sample were aged between 12-18 and 1-25 it made me realize that I should focus my documentary on people in these age ranges. Also a high percentage of my sample were students I thought about university and tuition fees as a topic and it seemed very suitable to do for my documentary as the issue of rising tuition fees directly affects me and all people in the age range of 16-24. As I know Im visiting university open days at Worcester, Coventry and BirmighamI know its a great opportunity to speak to present students on their opinions on this topic and get some advice. Being at these locations I know I can get some vital filming done. This will also give me better ideas for beyond open days and go one step further. I know this is a good topic to focus my documentary on as it is an issue that directly affects me and people around me. As I want to go university next year I want to learn more about rising tuition fees and this is a great opportunity for me to do so. My peers in sixth form are also affected by this issue and in colleges Im sure students are affected by this aswell. As my target audience are all

in this age range I feel my documentary will be very helpful and education for my target audience to watch. As I myself want to study at university next year, Im directly affected by this topic so its a great opportunity for me to get a good understanding of this topic and get a view of what other students think.
