1.What Gender Are You?

We asked 20 members of the public what gender they were to see what they thought about our two minute sequence. Our results show Females were more interested in thriller films as 11 females answered whereas only 9 males did. As there wasnt much of a difference between the two this shows our production will appeal to both genders.

2. Out of Ten, How Good Was The Film?

Results show majority of people gave the video a 6 and a few gave it a 7 and 8. Our production wasnt scored badly but it could have been scored higher if we had added a few extra things. Directing, Camera shots and use of sound could have been done much better.

3.What Genre Do You think 'Revenge' is ?

After watching the production we asked people what genre they thought Revenge was. Majority of people thought it was a thriller. Although some people thought it may have been an Action and Horror. This shows we portrayed the thriller genre very well. Although, as it wasnt that scary this may have confused some people to think it was an action or horror film. People said although the sound effects used did match the film. There wasnt a big enough use of sound within the production. This is one of the reasons why our production was given 6 out of 10 as there wasnt much sound or music in the background. As it was lacking the, video was also lacking something.

4.Do You Think The Sound Effects Matched With The Film?

5. After Watching the Video Was It Clear Who The Protaganist and Antagonist Were?

Results show that after watching the video people could clearly see that Bella's was the protagonist and Vince was the antagonist.

6.Do You Think The Title Of The Film Match The Opening Sequence?

Results show that after watching our film people thought the title of the film Revenge did match the opening sequence. People said this was clear as at the end. Bella's movements and facial expression show she was going to get revenge on Vince for what he has just done to her. The title helped reinforced what people may already be thinking.

7.Were The Colours Of The Titles And Credits Clear and Appropriate?

Results show that everyone thought the colour of the titles and credits were clear and appropriate. The colours used were Black, white and red, these dark colours were used to show that the film was darker then it was bright and happy.

8. Were The Fonts Used Appropriate and Readable?

Results show that majority of people thought the fonts were appropriate and readable but a few people said no. People said some of the fonts were a bit basic and could have been more interesting or effects could have been used to make them stand out more.

9. As A Whole Did The Film Look Professional?

Results show that our film did look professional but some people disagreed. This may have been due to certain camera shots being to basic or not being filmed very well. Also as technology is modernising the camera wasnt the best. It didnt have things such as HD recording, whereas professional films do.

10. What Do You Think The Strongest Component Of Our Film Was?

Results show the strongest component of our film was the acting. We made sure we had strong actors to be in our production, as we knew having bad ones would bring the film down. This obviously showed as people saw this was one of the strongest components. The second best was the camera shots.

11. What Do You Think The Weakest Component Of Our Film Was?

Results show the weakest component in our film was the directing. Second was the editing. These things could have been worked on more. The camera shots were the third weakest; this may have been as the shots at times were too simple.

12.After Watching The Opening Sequence Would You Watch The Whole Film?

Over half of people that answered said that after watching the opening sequence they would watch the whole film. 3 people said no, as thrillers werent the sort of films they liked to watch and also found the trailer slightly boring. But the other 17 said yes as they were intrigued by the opening sequence. They were left wanting to know more, Such as how Bella decides to get revenge.
