I wish to take this opportunity to wish everyone a joyous and happy holiday season. I wonder how many think about the real reason for the season. It is not about Santa Clause or pretty lights. It is not about giving and receiving gifts, but it is about a Savior who was born in Bethlehem. He was born to become the supreme sacrifice for my sins and your sins. Let us not forget Him not only in this season but in our everyday lives. Let us keep Him number one in every thing we do or say. He wants to rule in your life if you will only surrender completely and totally to Him. He is standing with

out stretched arms waiting for your move. We are living in the time when this Savior will become a judge to judge us for the deeds done in this body. Really, we are being judged every day by the Word. If we do not read the rules or have them explained to us, how will we know when we are doing wrong. He did not make it so tough that we could not live it, but He sent His Spirit to dwell in us to help us to live right. When the Spirit of Truth is come, He will lead you into all truth. Remember, Youth Camp is coming, let us begin our fund raising now so it

won't be hard on us later. Love Y'all, Bishop Bogue

Standing On the Shoulders of Giants

Remember them that had the
rule over you, men that spake unto you the word of God; and considering the issue of their life, imitate their faith Heb 13:7 Bishop H.E. Honea was a man of deep, abiding faith in God and love for people. He went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2009 leaving behind an impressive legacy of life and ministry. Born Oct. 30, 1939. He was saved and called to preach in April 1953, filled with the Holy Ghost in 1955 and baptized in Name of Jesus Christ in 1958. He preached in 32 states, 3 foreign countries and pastored in 4 states. Ordained Bishop in 1965, Bishop Honea ordained 120 ministers and 32 surrendered to preach under his ministry. Bishop Honea pastored the Tullahoma Church for 46 years and founded the First Church of Jesus Christ Organization in 1965, and the Banner of Love in 1966. He will be remembered as a tenderhearted, loving and forgiving man of faith whose life passion was the Kingdom of God. We do well to follow his example.

Let Every Day Be Christmas

Christmas is forever. Not for just one day, for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.

Remember too the Christchild, grew up to be a man; to hide Him in a cradle, is not our dear Lords plan. So keep the Christmas spirit, share it with others far and near, from week to week and month to month, throughout the entire year. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!

The good you do for others To every child, a good exam- is good you do yourself. ple Peace on Earth, good will to men, kind thoughts and To yourself, respect words of cheer, are things we should use often and not just once a year.

Editors Desk
I read a story about a well-known speaker who started his seminar by holding up a twenty-dollar bill. In the room of two hundred people, he asked who would like to have it. Hands started going up all over the place. He said, Im going to give this twenty dollars to one of you, but first let me do this. Then he proceeded to crumple the money. Holding up the wrinkled twenty-dollar bill, the question was asked again, Who still wants this money? Once more, hands shot up in the air. Well, he replied, what if I do this? Dropping the money on the carpet, the man ground it into the floor with his shoe. Picking up the rumpled and dirty bill, the speaker asked a third time, Now who wants it? Again, hands were raised affirmatively. At that point, the man said, My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth twenty dollars. Similarly, many have been dropped, crumpled, crushed, and ground into the dirt by decisions and circumstances throughout life. These unfortunate events may cause them to feel that their lives are a worthless waste, but that is not true! No matter what has happened or will happen, no one will lose his value in Gods eyes. To Him, clean or dirty, crumpled or finely creased, His creation still remains priceless. Our worth is not determined by what we do or who we are but by Whose we are! He alone is the one who brings meaning and worth into our lives. Others may think we are nothing more than a pile of trash that should be thrown away, but God sees a valuable masterpiece in the making!

The only real blind person at Christmas time is he who has not Christ in his heart. Helen Keller

Silent Night, Holy Night

We hustle and bustle from before Thanksgiving till after the New Year. We get so busy with family and friends, shopping and cooking, giving and receiving. We get smack dab wore out. How much more meaningful our Christmas would be if we deliberately planned some quiet time alone with Jesus. The Bible often exhorts us to invest time alone in Prayer. Mt 6:6 tells us to go into our room and shut the door and pray to our Father who is in the secret place and our Father who sees in secret will reward us openly. Notice how the Lord met the Christmas characters alone in that secret place. Zacharias was alone in the temple when Gabriel appeared to him at the altar. Mary was alone when the same angel appeared to her. Joseph was alone when the Angel of the Lord spoke to him in a dream. What a wonderful reward. JESUS Before you know it, Christmas will be gone. One of the most important times of the year! Our celebration of Jesus our Savior. Let us spend a night or two in that secret place, all alone. Let Him renew your springs that will never dry up. Let this be your Christmas gift to Jesus. The reward will be a fresh start and a renewed heart where all is calm and all is bright. Silent Night, Oh Holy Night. -Shelia Yates miraclesinaction.weebly.com

Who We Are

F IRST C HURCH OF J ESUS C HRIST

The First Church of Jesus Christ brings a complete Biblical message of the New Covenant way of life, as originally intended by our Lord, to His people. While the benefits of Jesus' life, death and resurrection are available to all, FCJC is specifically looking for those who are not satisfied with the "status quo". We unashamedly bring a revolutionary message to the Body of Christ and the world. We believe that God is looking for a few serious, committed, and sold out people through whom He can show Himself strong. We believe that God has provided a total Gospel with a total healing for the total man: spirit, soul, and body. We believe that Jesus offered no excuse for believing what He preached, and neither do we. We offer help and healing to anyone, anytime, for anything. We are thankful to Jesus for commissioning us to preach "a Gospel that works". The sick are healed, the dead are raised, the good news is preached to the poor (not just the rich). Our mission is to eradicate sin, sickness, and unnecessary suffering through the proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. We are planting churches and ministries around the world. If you are looking for a ministry to connect with that is doing something, this might be the one for you. If you are ready to manifest His presence rather than just soak in it, FCJC is an effective way to make a difference in the real world. We believe that Christians should live consecrated lives of obedience to the Word of God. We are for holiness, health, and charity. We are against sin, sickness, and a weak powerless gospel that blames the sick and hurting for being sick and hurting. If you are weak, we will be strong for you. If you are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, come help us help others. .
