MONTHLY CRIME BULLETIN Motor Vehicle Theft November 2012 Activity Summary: There were three (3) motor vehicle thefts reported in November 2012. There were six (6) motor vehicle thefts reported during the same time frame in 2011. This is a 50% decrease from 2011 to 2012. The incidents occurred in the A1, B1 and B2 reporting areas. Two (2) incidents occurred in residential settings and one (1) incident occurred on a roadway. Two (2) incidents are open for further investigation and one (1) incident has been closed with leads exhausted. Historically, HPD has an average of 4 motor vehicle thefts during the month of November with a current threshold of 1 to 7. This November, we were within the threshold with 3 reported motor vehicle thefts. Forecast for December: The average number of MV Thefts for the month of December is 5 plus or minus 2.
