Registration

Rangers can only take on as many players as we can provide coaches and umpires for. If you are an existing player and wish to guarantee a place in Rangers for 2013 you must return your registration form and $50 deposit BEFORE or ON registration night. You may return your form in the mail with a cheque/money order. You may also pay via EFT online (see the fee info sheet for more details). Rangers aims to have 9 players per team in 2013. The following priority is given re registration: 1. Existing players who register on or prior to registration night. 2. Existing/New players who register on registration night. 3. Players (both new and existing) who register after registration night.

Grading

Grading dates are set out below. Attendance at grading is compulsory. If you are unable to attend a grading session you must let us know. We realize there are potential conflicts with other commitments. If this is the case, please contact us, as we will attempt to work around it. Rangers has to ensure that the grading process is fair for all players, and the best way to do that is for all players to be present at grading and trial together. Players may not receive equal court time during grading for various reasons, but we will aim get you on court at least once in your first and second positions during each session. Players are reminded not to wear watches or jewelry to grading, and nails are to be cut short. Please wear suitable clothing; a netball skirt or shorts are preferred. Grading will take place on the main courts, in front of the clubrooms. Most Rangers teams train on a Tuesday night, but due to conflicting playing and coaching commitments (most of our coaches also play in other teams), some teams may train on other nights. The training night is best negotiated between the coach and players.
