Note: 1/10 SCALE @ 114 W.B. Same Driver as Cycle Kart

A little widening of the nose, front portion of the frame / body, and adding front fairings to conceal the long spring steel radius rods wont hurt the design. Must have openings in the fairings for the axle and tie rods travel.

3/8 Rod, threaded portion and bolted through front axle, rides up and down through slot in 1/4 alum. plate bolted to front cross member for sideways location of front axle. This pinion rod is offset for the end of the steering shaft with its steering arm not shown in the plan view, but side view.

Aluminum radius rod block.

Long spring steel rod, about 3/8 Dia., and threaded at each end is bolted through front axle and through alum. arm block bolted to frame. Diameter of rod determines amount of jounce and rebound limited by the length of the pinion slot.

The great Tazio Nuvolari in a 1936 6 Litre V-16 Auto Union. Taz was very small at 55 tall. The Cockpit was really short and the steering wheel right up against ones chest. Not todays standards at all. Page 1 of 2
