University of Central Punjab Training and Development- Fall Semester 2012

Group Project 1. Please make a group of five students of your class and select a group leader. 2. Select a company (having more than 100 employees), which you would like to study. 3. Make a Project Report on Training Programs designed and conducted in an organization based on Four-Phase approach: need assessment, training design, development and implementation of training, and evaluation. 4. The project should consist of four parts: I) II) III) IV) Develop a standard model of your project topic consulting your text book and reference material. Study the company you have selected vis--vis standard model you have developed as stated above and collect data. Analyze the data and identify the strengths and gaps/deficiencies in the company. Give your findings and recommendations for making the improvements in the process/procedures of the company.

5. The project should consist of 35 to 40 pages, typed in font size 12 in a simple and clear font style, single space, on A4 size paper. 6. The Project Reports should be submitted on January 8, 2013. 7. Presentation session of the Project Reports shall be held on the dates, which will be announced later on multi-media, in which: I. Each group will have 25 minutes; each member of respective groups will speak for 5 minutes to present his/her phase out of four phases of the project. Each member will explain the standard model, the data collected and its analysis, identification of strengths and weaknesses of that phase. II. Audience will have 5 minutes to ask questions and make comments at the end of each presentation. III. Group leader of each group will start to give introduction & overview and conclude the respective presentation, giving overall analysis and recommendations.
