Date: 31/12/2012 Sale of Used Vehicles, Prefabricated Office Units & Generators Instructions to Bidders The United Nations Development Programme in Sudan is intending to sell two (2) Land Cruiser vehicles, nine (9) surplus used flat pack prefabricated office units, generators and other items located at UNDP Compound House No. 7 Block 5 Gamaa Avenue, Khartoum. Sealed Bids, in an envelope clearly marked Offer for Purchase of Vehicles Used prefabricated office units & generators must be submitted to: Procurement Unit House No. 7 Block No. 5 Gamaa Avenue UNDP Compound, Khartoum Bids must be delivered by hand at Procurement Bids box at UNDP Compound on or before 10:00 Hours on 6th January 2013. General Conditions: 1. The bid form should be completed with original hand-signature using Bid Submission Form available in below link. If email is not provided, the mobile phone will be the main communication mean to notify the winners. 2. Bidders can bid for one lot or more 3. The offer will go to the highest bidder (s) 4. Late bids will be rejected. Inspection & Questions: The vehicles, prefabricated office units, generators and other items for sale will be available for physical inspection at UNDP compound address above on 2nd and 3rd January 2013. Warranty: All vehicles, used flat pack prefabricated office units, generators and other items are offered for sale on an "AS IS WHERE IS" basis, and without recourse or warranties of any kind. Terms of Sale: 1. Upon notification, the successful bidder must pay within one (1) day the purchase price in cash or certified check payable to the UNDP. Should the successful bidder fail to arrange payment within one (1) day, the unit(s) will be offered to the second highest bidder. 2. Payment is required to be made in full before delivery of purchased unit(s). 3. The units purchased shall be removed from the UNDP Compound within two (2) days. The vehicles will be handed over after receipt of transfer of ownership document which takes between two to three weeks. 4. Payment of Customs, Registration Fees, Sales Tax and insurance or any other such cost shall be at the expense of the purchaser. 5. UNDP reserves the right not to accept any offer if bids are not meeting minimum price (ref: Bid Submission Form).
