    The Itinerary

    Tour of Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai


    Saturday March 23rd: Coach from school to London. Meet at 8.15am. Fly to Beijing from Heathrow: BA 039 leaving at 16.35 Sunday March 24th: Arrive BEIJING at 09.30, transfer to 3* hotel. After lunch Temple of Heaven, the Olympic Stadium. Welcome dinner. Monday March 25th: BEIJING: Tianamen Square, Maos Mausoleum, Forbidden City, Summer Palace. Evening walking tour in the Hutongs. Tuesday March 26th: BEIJING: The Great Wall at Juyongguan section, Ming Tombs at Changling. Overnight first class train for Xian. Wednesday March 27th: BEIJING: Morning arrive at Xian check into hotel for breakfast. Terra-Cotta Army, Banpo Musuem. Thursday 28th: XIAN: Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Ancient City Wall, overnight

    train to Shanghai.
    Friday 29th: SHANGHAI: Arrive Shanghai, transfer to hotel for breakfast. Yu

    Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Bund.


    Saturday 30th: SHANGHAI: Birthplace of Chinese Communist Party, French

    Concession, Shanghai Museum.


    Sunday 31st: SHANGHAI: Oriental Pearl TV Tower (second ball), Shanghai

    City History Museum, Pudong Financial District, Nanjing Road.


    Monday April 1st: Leave on the Shanghai Maglev -the worlds fastest train. Fly to UK from Shanghai BA168 leaving at 11.00 and arriving at Heathrow at 16.30, returning to school by coach early evening.

    WHILST WE WILL VISIT ALL OF THE ABOVE, THE ITINERARY IS FLEXIBLE AND WE WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR NATIONAL GUIDES EXPERTISE AND LOCAL KNOWLEDGE TO ENHANCE OUR VISIT!
