< > Connect the charger connector ( BC-19B or BC-19C) to the on-board battery at the 3 connector, the on-board battery should be removed from the instrum ent w hen recharging. Plug the charger into an outlet { 3C-103 is for AC 120V use and BC-19C is for AC 21 230V use.). 3 ' Check to see th a t the red light o f the charger is lit. <> Charging w II take approxim ately 1.5 hours (The green lig h t o f the charger w ill 3 lig h t ). Remove the battery source from the charger. Notes 1 : 2 : 3 : 4 : Recharging should take olace in a room w ith an am bient tem perature range of 10C to 401 (50SF to 104F). C Exceeding the specified charging tim e m ay shorten the life o f the battery and should be avoided if possible. The b attery source w ill discharg e w h e n stored and should be checked before using w ith in stru m e n t. Be sure to charge a stored battery every 3 or 4 m onths and Store in a place at 3QC or below w hen it w ill not used for a long period. If you allo w the ba-.tery to be com pletely discharged, it w ill have an effect on the overall perform ance for proper charging in the future. Keep batteries charged at all times.
