MONTHLY CRIME BULLETIN Motor Vehicle Theft December 2012 Activity Summary: There was one (1) motor vehicle theft reported in December 2012. There was one (1) motor vehicle theft reported during the same time frame in 2011. There is no percentage increase or decrease from 2011 to 2012. The incident occurred in the D3 reporting area. The incident occurred in a residential setting. The incident is currently open for further investigation. Historically, HPD has an average of 5 motor vehicle thefts during the month of December with a current threshold of 3 to 7. This December, we were under the threshold with 1 reported motor vehicle theft. Forecast for January: The average number of MV Thefts for the month of January is 5 plus or minus 4.
