Last Saturday, the Trinity community and Kirksville friends of Maria Evans raised $140 for Lui missions during a country-style breakfast and send-off for Maria. She arrived safely in Lui Monday and has already shared some limited communications online. AHHH! THE MITTEN TREE, a fine Trinity tradition, is back again this year. The tree will go up on the first Sunday of Advent, December 2. Please bring new or handmade mittens, gloves, scarves, and hats to give to children and adults in need by the third Sunday of Advent, December 16. The items will be given to the Salvation Army headquarters for distribution throughout the winter to needy families in northeast Missouri.
