Sharrie Williams
Sharrie Williams joined CBS 11 and TXA 21 in January 2011 - just in time to cover two events that made national and international headlines: Record breaking winter ice storms and Super Bowl XLV. She came to North Texas from WFOR-TV in Miami (which, like CBS 11 and TXA 21, is owned by CBS Television Stations), where she spent three years covering the gamut of stories, from Paris Hilton on trial to Shaquille ONeals departure from the Miami Heat to traveling to Haiti to cover the devastating effects of four hurricanes in 2008 and later the 2010 earthquake. With a passion for knowledge and information, Sharrie has a gift for getting the people she interviews to open up and tell their story. In 2009, Success South Florida Magazine selected Sharrie for the Top 40 Under 40, and she was featured on the publications cover.
