MobiSet 4 CAP 900

The CAP 900 is a new addition to the well-proven range of Kathrein camping and caravan antennas. In the CAP 900 MobiSet 4 you will find new ideas and technologies combined with all the useful features of the old CAP units. Parabolic reflector and LNB The use of a parabolic reflector gives an extended reception range compared to the flat antenna previously used. The use of twin LNBs in the CAP 900 allows you to operate in future not just one but two receivers in your CAP 900. The fully automatic polarisation adjustment (skew) of the LNB ( 45) allows additional optimisation of reception in the fringes of the footprint of the respective satellite.

GPS Another new feature is the use of a GPS receiver in the turntable, which records and evaluates GPS data during the journey. This allows the motorised antenna to be aligned more quickly at the new location. Space required

Receiver The UFS 740sw DVB-S receiver, which is required for controlling the turntable, is also included in the package. Despite its modest dimensions it provides a wealth of features and delivers outstanding audio and video quality. The 16-character alphanumeric display shows channel names, radio data and programme information. The integrated Common Interface has space for two CA modules for decrypting Pay-TV channels. Due to the external power supply unit the CAP 900 can be operated both on 12 V DC and 230 V AC. The accessories for on-surface or under-shelf mounting are also supplied. In the run-up to the Dsseldorf trade show, the CAP 900 was honoured with the Caravanning Design Award Innovations for new mobility 2006/2007 presented by red dot design GmbH & Co. KG in Essen
