Industry analysis and company profile: Automobile industry is one of the largest industries of India.

It contributes 4% of National GDP AND 5% of outcomes to the country. It administers almost 3 million employments to many people directly or indirectly, which is assumed to be increasing by 2016. (Economy watch, 2012) Automobile industry stand sixth largest producer in world with more than 3.7 million production units in 2010. (OICA, 2010) Government policies like liberalization policy lead industry towards rapid growth. There are many supportive policy scopes that help industry grow like Recovering of foreign exchange and equity administration, less import tariffs, and financing system for automobiles from bank and useful EMIS. There is increase in joint ventures and franchises with local automobile industry, which shows percentage increase of foreign entries. This increase the choices between Indian and foreign products for customers. However, local companies are still at high position in market although international entries are competitors. According to ICRA study Indian automobile market assume high growth for competitively priced vehicles. (Economy watch, 2012) Maruti Suzuki Indian market leader: Maruti Suzuki is steadily leading the automobile industry of india with a well known brand image. It is leading Indian market from almost two and half decades. Maruti udyog is in joint venture with Japanese company Suzuki. Its net sales in 2011 were 347,059 million rupees. It sold more than 1.13 million vehicles in 2011. Its annual production is 1.5 million vehicles. Its planning to expand its manufacturing by 2013 to 1.75 milllion. Their values define as customer obsession, fast, flexible and first mover, innovation and creativity, networking and partnership, openness and learning.(Maruti Suzuki) To understand external environment of the company we used swot analysis which will analyse strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the company. Strengths: As a market leader from last two and half decades they have a very strong brand image and loyalty base. Their main attraction which leads them to higher position is the strategy of providind : cheap products with superior reliability. They are the first company to change revolution of the Indian automobile market. They have covered all over nation and provide services easily. Weaknesses: As Indian industry suffers allot due to their labour, labour union issues are its greatest weakness which effects on their work. There is less no online presence. There is less diversity in company. Opportunities: They are updating their sites, moving towards new revolution. Technological growth needed. Acquisition. Venturing in south Asian market. Threats: Increase in fuel prices. Cheaper technology imports. Price war. Product substitutes.

Tata motors are the emerging players in Indian automobile industry: Tata motors are one the Indias largest automobile company, with consolidated revenues of INR 1, 65,654 crores in 2011. They are the leader in manufacturing of commercial vehicles. They are at the second position in the automobile market of india with 15.6% market share. They are having good potential to expand and grow more in industry sector. There market place is increased after they introduced new product known as NANO In competition with maruti 800. They are financially strong and manageable to achieve targets effectively and efficiently. They changed the revolution or say perception of market by producing the cheapest car in India and will have lot of scope in the market. (Tata motors) External analysis is done through swot Strength: Most important strength is cheapest car in India: NANO Good brand recognition in the market. They have huge buyers power. Globally present in foreign countries: UK and South Africa. Weaknesses: They are less into luxury product manufacturing like competitors. Opportunities: They can enter other markets, as financially strong to expand globally. As to get into luxury segment they can get a tie with other luxury well known brand, which increase market position. Threats: Tatas price advantage wont last soon Luxury brands Increase in material cost increases price. Hindustan motors the company which is at risk: Hindustan motors have been established in 1998. It is a very old know company in Indian automobile market. Report shows fall down of net sales in an year of company with net sales of 495.48 in 2012 which results in loss of 29.96rs in crore.

However apart from Lancer and Pajero (SUV) none of its vehicles could cause a mix in the booming four-wheeler industry in Indian. Lately HM md Manoj jha reconciled from his post following a dip in the revenue of the organization for the last one fourth of 2011.
After analysing the whole data Marut Suzuki business has an edge over the competitors.The vehicles are designed keeping in mind the indian mindset and is more economical as needs less maintainence. TATA MOTORS hold 15 percent share of the market are growing rapidly The tata nano has totally changed the indian market with cars affordable to common man. Hindustan motors partnership n nda s non successful wth a huge loss every season they need to reonsder ther desgn and tradtonla maretng technques.

Selected job: I would like to take over the role of a businesss manager as my carrer. The major requirments for a good manager are communication skills ,good leadership qualities and analysing of things .At CULC I have learnt the imprtance of team work better communication and leadership. As in the very first semester of my course I took up the role of a team leader for our group assingnments in the strategy module I managed a team oof five memebers and successfully completed the assignments with flying colours .Also my individual contribution to the assignment got me good feedbacks.All the assignments at the uni required academic writing reading analysing and presentation skills .After completion of all the modules and course work I can surely say I have improved and developed my communication presentation and analysing skills which will help me in future when I take up the role of a business manager in any organisation As a business manager one must have through knowledge and understanding of business law and ethics so they can take up the responsiblities of the team.I think these skills would be developed more when applied practically.CULC has helped me learn all these skills and concepts with all its moodules for MBA .The competion in the market is tough I would also need to overcome my weaknesses and putt my best at work.

I am Neha Khandelwal and I am from India. I am studying MBA Global Business from Coventry University London Campus. I would like to entrench myself in the business field as an event manager and for that I would love to learn all business concept working as a human resource manager. I am friendly with a great finesse skills, confident in solving all challenges coming in my way, lively and took out all effervescent solution from the problems to complete given task. I completed my graduation from Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidhyalay with specialisation in business administration. My secondary education was also in commerce and maths. I have clear concepts of business skills and even built my leadership skills working in team during my masters. Even I know ways to maintain and create rapport with new people and existing clients, as I have done internship as event coordinator in Event Company. I am artistic, imaginative, fun loving person, I love to meet and talk new people and make new friends. Sketching is one of my interest and even love to dance and listen music in my spare time.

What is your one weakness?


I think I am a perfectionist and I try perfectly finish all the tasks assigned, but some times tense to become my weakness as I perfectly complete one task at a time and move to another which forbids me to be a multi-task and as it gets difficult for me to handle lot of task together. I am aware sometimes willing to get all things to be at perfectionist level consumes my more time and energy but even gives an effervescent solution and quality work. But spending time and mind on one topic and ignoring other topic delays other work or bring in poor quality work to complete on dead line. I have good understanding to distinguish between important tasks and can complete them on time. I completed all tasks given to me during my masters and internship on time without any delay or poor quality of work. With my consideration and understanding towards my task I do my entire task creatively and with effervescent solutions.

Tell me about your greatest achievement


For me one of my greatest achievements was a chance to prove myself in a completely new and exciting field. I was a part of one of the leading, event organising company in India where I was given a chance to single handed organize a college fest. Being completely raw and new in field I accepted this as a challenge and gave it my hundred per cent. I myself moulded the entire event from wet clay to a beautiful pot. I organised one of the greatest and the most creative college fest with my team with a very little knowledge about this business. I was successful in making my event a huge success with new ideas, new planning, creativity, and cooperation from my team I could achieve in making the event a grand success. For me handling the new task was more challenging than being difficult. I had put it all my labour, hard work, knowledge and passion in event to get a positive response. The event was one of my greatest achievements, as I was not stressed with a burden of organising such a huge fest rather I was excited and happy to accept such a big responsibility. My goal was not to get appreciation but to do the things right way and bring out effervescent results with quality

work.

How would your peers/colleagues describe you?


According to my friends I am a person with a positive and optimistic outlook. Who thinks universe is like a television and remote is in my hands. I tune the channel of my life. They feel am a complete enthusiast and believe in trying than accepting the defeat. I am a person who does not give up easily and motivates other to do the same. My friends usually call me a power pack as I am full of energy, passion, and positive attitude. I always believe in being true, honest, and trustworthy with my friends and thats the reason I am blessed with few of the greatest friends in the world. They often call me the three am friend as I always give them a helping hand, a shoulder to cry and a word of advice whenever they need. For them I am just like a tree which gives them sweet fruits, shelter, and my branches hold them together, I am according to them the most fun loving and happy go lucky person who believes living a life I just like eating an ice-cream grab it before it melts.

What makes you better than any of the other candidates interviewing for this job?"
I believe that I am a persons person. I have a great sense of understanding and analysing human psychology, which is very much needed for this job. As a person I believe its better to be a friend than to boss around. My approach towards my colleagues and the employees would be friendly, positive and disciplined. On the other hand I also understand the importance of punctuality, discipline and time management. A friendly approach in my job by any chance cannot hamper the above three factors which are very essential for the growth of individual and the company.
