Purpose: By attending this webinar you will be able to better identify, treat, and manage disturbed behavior in older patients with dementia. At the end of the webinar, you will be able to: 1. Describe the difference between delirium and dementia. 2. Identify old and new therapies for treatment of Alzheimers Disease. 3. Describe approaches to the management of agitated patients with dementia. Who Should Attend: Registered nurses, long-term care nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members working with elderly patients. Nursing Contact Hours Registered Nurses 1.0 Contact Hours per program: i-Net (OH-350, 1/19, 2014) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission of Accreditation.
