1 Denition
The feature Anonymous Call Rejection (ACR) allows a subscriber to automatically reject calls for which the calling subscriber suppresses the presentation of his or her call data (Calling Line Identification Restriction, CLIR). A call from an operator, who normally has the CLIR feature activated, is not rejected by the feature.

2 Mode of operation
When a subscriber has activated the feature Anonymous Call Rejection (ACR), the network node checks each incoming call to determine whether the calling subscriber has activated the Calling Line Identification Restriction (CLIR) feature. If this is the case, the network node automatically rejects the call. Rejected callers are connected to a special tone or an announcement. Example: The calling subscriber hears an announcement explaining why his or her call was rejected.
Sorry, the person you are calling will not accept calls if the calling number is not displayed. If you wish to reach this person, please call again without blocking display of your number.
Calls from an operator who has activated CLIR are not rejected. The ACR feature can be activated and deactivated by the operator or by the subscriber. Subscribers can check from their terminal whether or not the feature is active for their line. Capacity The percentages indicate the number of authorized subscribers for the feature within the network node and their simultaneous application.
