Extension individual Call Forwarding of PBX

1 Denition
The feature Extension individual Call Forwarding of PBX enables immediate call forwarding for a (specific) extension number of a private branch exchange (PBX) with direct dialing-in (DDI). The required extension number of a PBX is assigned the corresponding forwarding number in a screening list. A call can be forwarded to any access type for which the directory number is in the numbering plan. Call forwarding is even possible if the subscriber is not connected to a PBX.

2 Mode of operation
When the feature Extension individual Call Forwarding of PBX is activated, the extension number dialed is first checked against the entries in the screening list. If, in the case of a PBX, the extension number matches an entry, the call is forwarded to the destination assigned in the screening list. the extension number does not match an entry or there is no screening list, the call to the desired subscriber is set up, or, if the feature Call Forwarding Unconditional is activated for the entire PBX, the call is forwarded to this destination. If, in the case of no PBX, the extension number matches an entry, the call is forwarded to the destination assigned in the screening list. the extension number does not match an entry or there is no screening list, the subscriber hears the busy tone. If the feature Call Forwarding Unconditional is activated for the entire PBX, the call is forwarded to this destination. Additional feature options In connection with the feature there are additional options that can be assigned to the forwarding subscriber: Forwarding indication The forwarded subscriber can be sent an indication that his or her call is being forwarded. This indication can be with or without the directory number of the subscriber to whom the call is forwarded. Display of the forwarded number to the destination subscriber The subscriber to whom the call is forwarded can receive an indication of the number of the forwarding subscriber or, in the case of multiple call forwarding, the number of the rst forwarding subscriber and the last forwarding subscriber.
