Operational Plan

XYZ would start with 3 outlets in NCR, Jaipur and Agra, India in Q1 2013. A detailed operational plan for 8 quarters from Q1 2013 to Q4 2014 has been formulated. By the end of year 2014, xyz would transform into a 106 outlet (all are self-owned and institution managed). All cities will undergo a trial evaluation of demand of this service with the help of survey. Survey will be conduct by using various methods of survey, like questionnaire, scheduling etc. North Region will be targeted first and then only on satisfactory results of survey will that city be targeted for expansion. Xyz will make contacts with local shopkeepers who deals in IT, electronics, plumbing related products etc. so that company can get more customers contacts for services.

Company owned outlet management Location of outlets- Selection of appropriate location would primarily be based on number of shoppers or chain of shops (footfalls) of the target segment. For this, busy central areas would be used. Outlets would be leased to avoid high investments in the crucial initial stages. 3 outlets will be opened in the first month of operation. All these outlets would first target that area where people mostly want these types of services. A detailed location selection template would be prepared to aid in objective decision-making for selection of appropriate location. The potential for a new retail location would always be tested using the survey method, i.e. , questionnaire. Special strategic locations like IT market & Durables products market. In places where people come to purchase their household items in high number, so that they can easily contact the company. Company also makes a contact with shopkeepers who can provide its customers and recommend companys services to them. Outlet infrastructure- A company would be incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 of India, having its registered office at Delhi. All outlets of company would be situated in suitable locations in the city so that clients can order any service required for their home from any place within the city. Company assures the consumers about the strict privacy guidelines in dealing with customers privacy. Companys workers are so trustworthy and our operating system is so secure that no third person knows about customer details and transactions. During the launch phase the infrastructure of company like office, manpower, transportation vehicles for workers would be utilized for delivering services to the customers everyday. The POS systems at the outlet would connect to the central office every night to transfer the days results. In order to run outlet efficiently it is essential to keep all appointments, client, employee roster and the checkout in a system where you can create performance reports for.
