News From Room 207

Week of 1/28/13
We had a wonderful time on Thursday afternoon creating Valentines cards for our troops with our Kindergarten buddies. Please check out the slideshow on our classroom blog or at http://tinyurl.com/buddies2013. Your children did a great job persevering through many assessments last week. They should be very proud of their efforts. We will have one more assessment this week with the Mid-Year Math assessment on Tuesday and Wednesday. Golden envelopes will be coming home later this week. We will spend the beginning of our week, reviewing our Mock ELA MCAS, Unit 6 Math Test and our Simple Machines test prior to sending it home. Please spend some time going over the assessments with your child. The assessments provide us with valuable information to guide our upcoming instruction.
