Composition

I wrote about my favorite book this year: Montana Sky it was written by Nora Roberts. Montana Sky is a novel with five hundred and thirty pages. Montana Sky Summary This story is about three sisters, they hadnt seen each other until their fathers death. They met in their fathers funeral (Jack). He had a lot of money and a huge dairy farm called Mercy (his surname), but in spite of his money he was selfish and very mean. He only liked himself. In his grave, was written: Lived as he wanted. Almost all people hated him but they admired his courage and determination too. He left his wives and his children when they were very young, except the youngest because her mother died before he could leave her, so he had to raise her, but in fact who raised her were the employees, he never gave his love to her or other good thing, he wanted a boy and had 3 girls. When he died he left a will, the rules were very clear, the 3 daughters should live together in the farm for a year to receive their part in his farm. If one of them gives up, the 3 will lose the farm and the farm will go to a charity institution. To assure it he assigns two tutors. The tutors are Ben and Nathan. His daughters names are Tess, Lili and Willa. The biggest problem is the difference between the sisters. The oldest is Tess was raised by her mother and she never knew her father. Her mother worked in a show bar when she met Jack, they fell in love and got married, when Tess was born they got divorced and the Tess mother moved to the city with her and opened her own business, she raised Tess alone, she is beautiful, strong, vain and a little extravagant in the past she really loved Jack. Tess is a writer, she writes novels and movies, she lives in Los Angeles, loves the city, parties, expensive cars, noise, good dresses and so on, she hated the idea of living in a farm during a year but she needs the money and she agrees to live there, only for a year. The second one is Lili, she was raised by her mother and her step father, she never knew her father either, her mother was a beautiful woman and well known when she met Jack, they fell in love and got married; Lili got married a bad guy who beats her up, she got divorced but he never accepted the divorce, always looking for her and abusing her, so she loved the idea of living in a distant farm for a year, she thought that staying there would be a good way to escape from him, the farm is a shelter for her. She is a runaway, kind and fragile, she lives with fear. The youngest is Willa, She thought that her father would leave the farm to her but he didnt. She was raised in the farm and learned everything about cattle, horses and how to take care of

the farm, she learned it with the employees. She is beautiful however, she acts like men, she is stubborn, strong and rude, and she avoids feelings. She hated the idea of living with two strangers in her house, but she hadnt other choice. She had a half-brother called Adam, their mother died when she was born; her mother was a Native American and had an exceptional beauty. She thought Jack was unfair because he left only a little bit of money to Adam who worked hard for him, but she has intent to fix it. Willa and Tess at first hated each other because they are very different. Tess is from the city and Willa is from the farm. Both of them like Lili, because Lili is fragile and seems unprotected. Lili is very kind to them too. Adam is very handsome; He loves horse and had a little house in Mercys property. He is a hard worker, generous, strong and patient guy. He fell in love with Lili, but she has a wound in her heart and he is going wait till the wound closes. She fell in love with him but she got afraid because her ex-husband mistreated her a lot, but she will realize that Adam is an excellent man. Ben one of the tutors lives in the neighborhood, he is strong, handsome and hard working. In the past Jack asked him to marry Willa, but he didnt agree, for him marriage should be for love and Jack wanted to make a business of it, he believed that a daughter should do only one thing: get married. In fact Ben loves Willa, but they are always fighting with each other. He lives in Tree Rock a farm near Mercy, with his parents, his brother, his niece and his sister in law. Nathan is the other tutor, he is a lawyer and he fell in love with Tess, but they are very different. She loves the city and intends to go back when the year is finished. He graduated in the biggest college in the city but he prefers the farm, he likes the horses and so on. He is very smart and patient too. Tess fell in love with him but she think that is only about sex not love. This story isnt only about love, there are others things like a dangerous ex-husband who tries to do everything to hurt his ex-wife and a series of murder, it starts with an ox, after a cat and it jumps to a man, the things become worse day by day a long the year until the grand finale. There are other characters, Mercys employees and the neighborhoods employees and the farms owners. Everyone can do these things and they shouldnt trust in anyone. The book is very entertaining; it has romance, thriller, friendship, family love and so on and the most important thing to me: a happy end.
