Worth County Primary School The Lambs Yarn January 2013

Stacey Rutledge, Principal Cora Brettel & Jenny Worn, Assistant Principals A Word from Mr. Rutledge: Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a restful and happy break. It is that time
of the school year when things start to pick up and all of our students are in full swing learning new skills and reviewing previously taught material. Parents, I hope that you are seeing lots of gains in your childs learning. The second half of the school year is a very exciting time. Everything begins to click for students and they begin to piece together the skills that they have been working on to become stronger academic students. Now is the time to focus on attaining the educational goals that have been set forth for each student. If you feel that your child is not making progress as they should, please contact your childs teacher so that a parent conference can be scheduled to discuss their academic needs. By working together as a team, we can provide an effective support system for all of our students. We look forward to a wonderful, productive New Year.

WCPS Blood Drive: Our school has scheduled an American Red Cross Blood Drive for Tuesday, January 29th, from 1:00
until 6:00 here at WCPS. Please take time to come give blood and invite other family and friends to join in. The blood you donate could be a life-saving gift for somebody in 2013. We are looking forward to having an outstanding turnout.

How Can You Help Your Childs School? Box Tops for Education & Campbells Soup Labels: Mrs. Welch, WCPS music teacher, is collecting Box Tops for Education
