Crime fascinates us and the public consumption of crime narratives has existed fo r c e n t u r i e s . The Librar ys Historical & Special Collections provides a look at this fascination with their new exhibit, Extra! Extra! Read All About It: A Tale of True Crime. Focusing on a short chapter in the United States history of true crime narratives, exhibit topics include: serialized true crime literature, crime photography in newspapers, and the representation of family life in the medias coverage of the Sacco and Vanzetti case.
