Matching Packet 1. Students will match each equation card with its graph card. *The equations are in 3 forms: point-slope, slope-intercept, general. 2. Students will tape the cards into their packet and explain how they made the match. Discussion: what short-cuts are students using? 3. Students will identify the slope, intercepts, and points of new equations. 4. Students will give their own name to each form of equation. 5. Students will identify which mathematical habits they have used. Discussion 1. What linear forms are there? 2. What information do we get from each form? 3. What habits are we using?
