Take several deep breaths and ground yourselves. Pansamantalang ipikit natin ang ating mga mata. Damahin natin na tayo ay mga mamamayan ng Baryo Kapos, na tayo ay maglalakbay patungo roon. Ngayon, dahan dahan tayong sumasakay sa sasakyan. Sabik na sabik tayong makarating sa ating eskwelahan. Habang tayoy naglalakbay, nadarama natin ang pabugso-bugsong takbo ng sasakyan dahil sa baku-bakong daan, ang alikabok sa ating balat; ang pawis sa ating likod sa init ng araw; ang hangin na humahampas sa ating pisngi. Tayo ay malapit na! Napansin kaagad natin ang maraming batang naglalaro sa tigang na lupa dahil wala pa ang mga guro. At nabatid natin ang maraming problema sa paaralan tulad ng tubig na inumin, silid aralan, pagkakasakit ng mga mag-aaral, mataas na drop- out rate at marami pang iba. Kayo bilang barrio captain, health officer, school principal, negosyante, PTA President o isang guro ay kailangang magtulungan upang gumanda at maging kapakipakinabang ang Mababang Paaralan ng Baryo Kapos. Imulat natin ang ating mga mata at tayo ngayon ay dadalo sa isang pagpupulong upang gampanan ang ating tungkulin para sa ikalulutas ng mga suliranin ng paaralang ito. MEETING SITUATION A certain government agency together with three other private corporations donated P50, 000 pesos for the development of Mababang Paaralan ng Baryo Kapos. The people of this barrio aired the following concerns: 1. Immorality, stealing; 2. High priced commodities in the market; 3. Lack of health care; 4. Lack of connecting roads to other towns; 5. Need for electrification; 6. Need for farm equipment and fertilizers; 7. High rate of childbirth; 8. Need for jailhouse; 9. Need for public market; and 10.Need for improvement of water system. The School has the following problems: 1. Lack of classrooms and other school facilities; 2. No health clinic 3. No Guidance Office 4. The Library contains old books 5. No playground for children 6. Inadequate comfort rooms 7. No water supply 8. No place for recreation (courts, stage)
