John Lloyd admit Relationship with Angelica For the first time, actor John Lloyd Cruz admitted that he is in a relationship with actress Angelica Panganiban during his exclusive interview with The Buzz parts of which aired on Sunday. Entertainment writer Reggee Bonoan, writing on Manila Bulletins blog site, said her source from ABS-CBN told her that Cruz had confirmed that he and Panganiban are now a couple. The source said, however, that because of Cruzs upcoming Star Cinema movie The Mistress, the portion where he admitted his relationship with Panganiban was removed. The source further said Cruz and Panganiban would probably go public about their relationship after The Mistress hits theaters nationwide. The Mistress is set to open in theaters nationwide September 12. In the The Buzz interview that aired on Sunday, Cruz said it did not seem right for him to talk about his relationship with Panganiban when he is promoting his new movie with long-time onscreen partner Bea Alonzo. Ang pinanggagalingan ko, for something this special, ayaw ko itong isabay sa promo ng pelikula ko, he said. It deserves a better timing. Hindi naman tanga ang mga manonood. But despite his non-admission on the show, Cruz and Panganiban were spotted holding hands while leaving the 6th Star Magic Ball at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel last Saturday. The two arrived separately at the red-carpet event. Panganiban even initially said she sees nothing wrong about going to the ball alone. But as the night progressed, Cruz and Panganiban were seen together several times until they left hand in hand.

Rumors that something romantic is blossoming between Cruz and Panganiban started after the two returned to the Philippines from Vietnam in April to shoot their scenes for the upcoming Star Magic movie "24/7 in Love." But it was only last August 12 when Panganiban posted a collage photo on Instagram where she went public for the first time in hinting that there is something happening between her and Cruz. Panganiban and Cruz's first public appearance together was at the Star Magic Ball last September 1, where they were even seen leaving the event hand in hand.
