FORWARD: FaithFamilyFuture These are exciting days at Northside as we move forward to advance His Kingdom! Stop by the FORWARD table in the foyer to RSVP for our Age Group Informational Meals as well as the upcoming Church-Wide FORWARD Banquet on March 14. Deacons are contacting our members, so as they call, you may RSVP to them as well. PRAYER EMPHASIS: We hope youll join us for our special Prayer Emphasis February 24-March 16. Please indicate on the card handed out with the bulletins today your involvement and turn the card in (through the offering plate or at the FORWARD table) so well have a record of your participation. Information regarding our FORWARD Campaign is available at the Information Desk. Wednesday Nights Join us for a great time of fellowship at our Wednesday evening meals (5:00 6:00pm). Catered by Lizards Thicket, the cost is $6.00 for Adults and $3.00 for children (under 10). The menu (2/20): fried pork chop or sauted marinated chicken (choice of 1 item), sweet potato souffl, baby lima beans, corn bread, rolls and tea.Please RSVP for the meal by noon on Tuesdays. After the meal, all adults will meet in the Worship Center for a time of Corporate Prayer led by Pastor Rocky (6:00-6:30pm) followed by Corporate Teaching (6:30-7:30pm). Mens and ladies discipleship groups and adult choir practice will run 6:30-8:00 pm. All preschool, children and student activities will run 6:008:00 pm. RUNNING TOGETHER: One Day Class Join Pastor Rocky on Saturday, March 2, from 8:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m., in the Student Center, as he teaches the complete Running Together Northside Membership Class. If youre new to Northside or if youre a member who hasnt previously attended, this class is for you! Childcare (ages 11 and under) will be provided by reservation only. We are asking attendees to please register in advance. Registration forms will be handed out with the bulletin today (complete and drop off at the Information Desk) or call Mary @ 926-3029. XYZ Senior Adult Fellowship Tuesday, February 19, 10:30 AM CFC Fellowship Hall Program: Lauren Edmunds Tolcher, musician and soloist will entertain us with love songs. Menu: Vegetable soup with ground beef, corn bread, ham, roast beef, turkey sandwich, dessert, and beverage. Cost: $6.00 Northern Africa & Middle East (NAME) Cluster Meeting August 18-26, 2013 Join us in August as we minister to the workers and their families from this challenging area of the world. We will: Help with and minister to children (babiesage 11) using VBS type curriculum, special projects, etc. Help with medical needs. We have a medical team that will do various screenings, vaccinations, physicals and a lot of other things. We need trained nurses to go and assist the doctors. Also looking for: Physical therapist Pharmacist Speech therapist Dentist Massage therapist People who can give haircuts Ministry to wives. Suggestions: pedicures/manicures, women who sell make up products bring and sell to the wives Appalachia Mission Trip Interest Meeting February 24 from 12:15 1:00 PM in the Student Area (after the Worship Service). Worship and Arts Retreat The Worship & Arts Ministry would love to invite you to join us for this, our 2nd Annual Worship and Arts Retreat! This retreat is open to those currently serving as well as those interested in finding out more about the Worship & Arts Ministry and how they can serve. The retreat is February 22-23 and will start at 5:45 pm in the Worship Center. Global Missions Celebration 2013 Thank you to everyone who helped in all the various aspects of our GMC! It was a weekend that honored God, blessed the missionaries and challenged all of us to be individually responsible to take the gospel to the unreached people of the world by praying, giving and going!
