We'll be pulling our RV trailers and probably staying in the Rio Grande Village Campground (where tent camping is also available). (The Derricks will then spend the following week at the Davis Mts. State Park in Ft. Davis looking at stars and birds.) If anyone is interested in joining us, contact any of us for more details. Paul Derrick, et al.

Music Festival
Mark your calendars now, and call your friends!

Saturday, March 16, 7:00-10:00 P.M.

UUFW will host a fun-filled evening of musical talent!
We will warm up in P.T. Barnum Fellowship Hall with a circle jamboree, playing & singing everyones favorites. (Bring an instrument. Be creative!) After a break for tasty hors doeuvres and drinks (BYOB), musicians and singers will take to the stage to showcase their favorite songs. Slated Performances by: Jan Forney (NYC scat/blues,) The Horton Duo (flute & guitar, world music), Jon Fox (jazz guitar), Keith Warren (singer, guitar, piano), The Derricks & The VanWagners (folk singers), Kris Cervantes (singer), and any others who wish to share their talents!

This will be quite a show, so dont miss it! We hope to have many participants and a large invited crowd, with donations going toward a new sound system for our sanctuary. Please help publicize our event. Thank you very much in advance. POC: Sherrell Huff, shuff.10@hotmail.com

UUFW Family Photo Album

Thank you to everyone who came out to help with the xeriscape project last Saturday. Here are a couple of photos of the work in progress, courtesy of Paul Derrick.

A Special Thank You goes out to Randy Culp and John Moody who organized the project, developed the design, and put the plan in motion.

Marty Van Wagner visits with our guest speaker, author, Katherine Stewart, who spent much of her day with us on Sunday, Feb 9, 2013. We appreciated that she took the time to share her research with us. You can see the display of her book, The Good News Club.
We do still have about 10 copies of the book in the fellowship hall if you have not purchased yours yet. Copies are $12 each.
