Summary
Michelle Reed is a cum laude graduate from the University of Houston. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in English in May 2012. During her years as an undergraduate student, Michelle completed four internships, including a highly competitive internship at Fox News Channel in New York City. She also co-founded a news-based series called "College Smart," with a six-time Emmy award-winning producer and journalist who has also accumulated over 180 journalism awards. The series was an outlet for college and high school students eager to start their career in journalism. It allowed students to go into the field as reporters, photographers, and field producers so they could learn how to put together a news story as a "one-man-band." Michelle is currently a reporter for the ABC affiliate KTRE serving the Lufkin and Nacogdoches area of East Texas. She also contributes stories to KLTV in Tyler. Michelle is also an experienced print writer and has been featured in Health and Fitness Magazine, and on foxnews.com. She has also written for the Houston Business Journal and has been a contributor for the Houston Chronicle since 2010.

Reporter at KTRE-TV (ABC) October 2012 - Present (5 months) Enterprised and delivered the lead story and other material for the 6 and 10 P.M. weekday newscasts for the market 107 ABC affiliate.
