Junior Culinaires Society


POLICY Introduction JCS policy is set and intended to be followed through by its members. Policies implemented are imposed to those of best interests. The organization encourages both officers and members to learn and understand the policies with the end view that they will take interest and pride in their work/duties and obligations; it focuses on the social services and welfare of the organization. With the interest in understanding and learning and with approval of membership, one must thoroughly be guided and abide with the policy stated below; these pages outline the main issues.

Attendance:
1. The members must attend all JCS meetings and function/s evaluations and must

be minutes early for attendance checking and inspection.


2. The member should inform the officers before or during/on the meeting that she

or he will be absent NOT AFTER his or her absence. Residing far off without a telephone is not an excuse. Should he or she be absent from the meeting/function the member has to explain her or his absence in the form of a formal letter. 3. If one cannot attend the said function, they must inform the officer in charge ahead of time.
4. Members whom are to do last minute changes due to academic or valid reasons

are to inform fellow members who are to be in the said meeting/activity but must be able to supply the given excuse on the following day (or next meeting).

5. Absences committed continuously wherein the officers are not properly informed;

the member would be subdue to disciplinary action.


6. Before and after meeting attendance of the present members must be listed with

signature for history records.

Moral and Behaviour:

Officers:
1. Officers must be well versed; Follow and act through his/ her obligation as an

officer of the organization and must cooperate with his/her colleagues at all times.
2. Must be a good role model and set a good example for the members to follow. 3. Must be proactive and open minded in working with colleagues. 4. The officer must not use/abuse their power for any sole reason.

Members: 1. The member should abide by the kitchen rules and regulations and office policy set by the higher authorities.
2. The members must be of proper etiquette towards his/ her colleague.

Misconducts made towards others will be given disciplinary action based on the action committed. (Refer to Disciplinary action Given below)

3. Must always be respectful towards his/her colleagues, and to all the people around him/her.
4. The members must take initiative of their obligations and must give it of utter

importance.
5. Members should not hold the organization liable for non-compliance to school

matters.
6. The member ought to contribute to the organization for the sinking fund (Php

10.00 per day) which will be used for the benefit of the members and development.

Disciplinary Action: Inactivity and/or defiance of the said policy, and misconducts shown will submit to the following: Verbal reprimand Written reprimand First warning Suspension Termination (Based on the action taken)
