Notes
The typeface I used is Hero (the relationship between the type name and the work is completely unintended), a free font designed by Svetoslav Simov. This san-serif font contains 200 glyphs and was released as a version 1.000 in 2010 and there is no any change since then. I designed my poster taken inspiration from some modern alphabet poster. I chose this font because its sharpness and elegant look and feel that reflect the minimalist style of the work. The roundness of the typeface also provide not-tooserious message. The font also comes in lightweight style that made it suitable for my posters headline. For each alphabet, I used white color for the font in contrast to the solid color background. My topic is Marvel Comics characters insignias. Comic book nerds could find the work interesting and somewhat challenging. Since colors play a big role in superheroes and supervillains identities, I used the accented color harmony for the background and text to emphasize each alphabet entry. I also used low saturated color instead of the vivid bright color to mimic the paper feel.
