Official Board Meeting This Thursday@ 7:30! Due to the weather, the board meeting scheduled for 2/21/13 was moved to this Thursday 2/28/13. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend our board meetings. Please come and participate! Dancing in the Darkness, Lent 2013 Our Lenten series is entitled Dancing in the Darkness. The season of Lent is not marked by sadness, but by disciplined reflection on our lives all of our lives and how they are made new in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. So dancing in the darkness is about, on the one hand, recognizing the tough, sad, sometimes shameful, hurts, and all around bad parts of life. If we begin to name those, the joy we understand at Easter may begin to make sense. On the other hand, even the Sundays in Lent are mini-Easters. So they are in some way celebrations hence the dancing. Many times our pains and difficulties dont go away quickly or easily, but God joins us in our journey to help us find ways of dancing in the darkness.
It is the desire of our elders to be available for spiritual care. If you have a need with which the elders may be of assistance, please complete this card, tear it out, and place it in the provided box in the Narthex.
At the close of worship, all are invited to commit or recommit ourselves to following Jesus. We are sent forth into the world in song, charged to be disciples in our daily lives.

Nursery: Children are always welcome in the service. We do provide a nursery for newborn - 3 years old for anyone who prefers to take their little ones there. Worship and Wonder: In room 117, the children will hear Bible stories and learn about God while experiencing the presence of God. Children ages 3 to 10 are invited to participate during the service. They will gather in the narthex during the passing of Christs peace and go together.
