Happy Valentine's Day from the staff of Pioneer! With the half way point of the year having passed, it is time to check in with your child about school supplies. Many students require a top up of pencils, pens and perhaps even some paper. Spring is right around the corner but not yet here. We request your help with ensuring your child has appropriate outdoor gear for the weather. We have several students going outside at lunch in their shirt sleeves. At a minimum, students should have on a hoodie when going outside - which is an expectation during our lunch break. Thank you for your continued support! Mrs. Bobbie-Jo Douglas Principal

Pioneers Breakfast for Learning would like to extent a big thank you to Dr. Colleen & Dr. Clark Bertagnolli & the Rocky Bottle Depot for their generous donations. Thank you to all the teachers who came out to judge the grade 8 cooking competition and The Mountaineer for taking pictures. The students did very well cooking from a recipe without guidance and creating their own special concoctions. It was a lot of fun.
