Usha Exim is an ISO 9001:2008 certi ed Ethical Fair Trade Company, fully compliant under the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) Code and ETI (Ethical Trading Initiative) Code of Conduct. Usha is also a veri ed Trusted Supplier by Dun & Bradstreet. It is a multi-product Export Organization, led by a team of hardcore professionals and industry experts. The organisation has created a niche in the global market since 1994 as a reliable supplier. Ushas ethnic and contemporary collections of value added high-fashion range of bags, belts, travel goods and accessories made in materials genuine leather, faux leather and textile bear the mark of quality of raw materials and supreme excellence in workmanship. The creativity and nesse is re ected through the indomitable passion to excel in truly world-class services to deliver best products based on latest trends in fashion. Usha was launched to bring quality products and novel handicrafts to the world market with Ethical & Fair Trade practices. The aim of quality, ethics and fairness are being achieved through it's e cient working to provide good business deals in the best interests of all stakeholders from grassroots artisans to end consumers. The success of the company is constantly monitored with the indicators of satisfaction of these stakeholders. Maximum importance is given to the esteemed buyers and consumers as a tradition of business ethics. Usha was launched in mid-nineties to bring Quality Fair Products and Novel Handicrafts to the world markets. Usha started with its quality production of Soapstone Handicrafts in the clean & green production facility of Agra Bazaar. The essence of Quality and Fairness soon substantiated into a successful export business. Gradually, other craft-lines were added and Usha was transformed into "Center of Indian Traditional & Novel Handicrafts" in Soapstone, and Fashion Jewelry under one roof.

2. Usha with the Aim of Experience Oriented Maturity


Usha made it's humble beginning with its quality production of beautifully handcrafted aesthetic Soapstone crafts in the Clean & Green Model Workshop situated at Agra. The essence of quality and fairness soon grew into a successful export business. Gradually, other craftlines were added due to buyer demand, resulting in transfor mation of Usha into a Center of Indian Traditional & Novel Handicrafts.

3. Location and Facilities


Usha's registered o ce and factory is spread across 15,000 square feet in the ideal commercial and industrial hub and central location of prestigious real-estate of Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase-III in New Delhi. The factory is equipped with most modern Japanese and indigenous state-of-the-art plants & equipments.

4. Team
Usha has invested heavily in human resource development by installing a competent and professional team of Concept Designers, Merchandise Managers, Logistic Executives, Managers and a team of master craftsmen - all with distinct specializations in their respective elds. Our Marketing and Merchandising team is geared to render prompt, personalized and professional services to buyers at all times. In the past, our participation at International Trade Fairs like Ambiente, Tendence, Collectione, and Asian Living at Frankfurt, Germany, New York Gift Fair, Feirra Milano at Italy, Hong Kong Gift Show as well as Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fairs, New Delhi gave them new impetus and vision to o er world class services and interact with buyers requirements intelligently. Skilled Artisans and Master Craftsmen work in close co-operation with our Designers to meet speci c buyer needs perpetually and great emphasis is laid on producing utility oriented merchandise to the taste and preferences of consumers. The overall infrastructure functions to its maximum capacity to the high expectations and demands of customers. Usha has, as a result, gained deep-rooted reputation and immense credibility with its esteemed customers the world over for reliability and excellence in crafts production and world class services.

6. Fair Trade Policy


Usha is committed to Practical Fairness in Production & Trading Practices, providing its craftsmen and buyers with the con dence of transparency and honesty. In all our dealings, this is of utmost importance to our relationship base. Usha will go on striving to conduct business with total integrity and social responsibility, complying with the best ethical standards and exemplary behavior. Usha will encourage and respond to feed back from it's all stakeholders to assure continuous improvements and provide accurate, genuine and clear information. Usha also practices World Family standards, a catalyst of social change.
Usha does not engage any unfair means in Production and Trading practices like undue pro t-mongering, child, bonded & forced labour, environmental irresponsibility and anything adverse to human dignity. 7. Social Responsibility & Compliance


Usha understands the need of compliance requirement to satisfy increasing concerns of consumers' demand for not only quality and value for money, but also social responsibility and compliance of factory producing the goods. Compliance to workmen compensation, health & safety and also child labour issues form a mandatory focus in our supply chain. Through systematic inspection, internal and third party audits, we enforce customers requirements of compliance in each step of production ensuring labour issues, fair wages, work environment, non-discrimination & no child labour policies.

8. No Child / Forced Labor Policy


At Usha, child, bonded or forced labour are not used, covertly or overtly, in any of the processes. All crafts are produced exclusively by adult artisans at free will. Artisans are counseled and motivated to send their children to school and complete at least high school education before they are inducted into family tradition of craftsmanship. Artisans are paid time bound fair wages. Women artisans are treated at par with men. Regular re-orientation workshops are organized to further improve quality production of crafts with nesse. This helps produce clean crafts free of exploitation, respecting human dignity.

9 Product Development
Usha has a complete in-house design department for comprehensive product review to develop classic looks, trendy colors, prints and fabric compositions. We o er samples tailored to speci c requirement. Our team of Designers includes well-equipped and experienced personnel with depth, vision and creativity. We have in house R & D department for design and sample development, which is involved from conceptualization to creation of novelties in each product range. Our itinerant Design Consultants from U.K, Europe and US provide valuable contribution to innovate products with our Indian Designers and Merchandisers who have worked under the professional guidance of quali ed Dutch Consultants and Designers from CBI (Center for the Promotion of Imports from the Developing Countries - an agency of the Ministry of Foreign A airs, Government of the Netherlands) in the past to constantly innovate, improve and create new designs for the next season to the expectations of the buyers from di erent parts of the globe.

10. Raw Materials


The strength of leather is incomparable to any other natural raw material for bags. All genuine leathers are by-products of the global meat consumption industry. Usha procures it's leather supplies only from licensed tanneries. Our grassroots artisans handcraft most elegant leather bags from raw materials that would otherwise go to waste. We o er a fabulous feel, stunning looks and unmatched strength - the right choice for bags. To manage natural resources, preserve environment and promote better worker health, Usha also uses a variety of top grain genuine eco-friendly leathers, free of harmful chemicals like Chromium, Azo Dyes and PCP and 100% vegetable dyed leathers in combination with organic fabric for the most discerning customers in Europe.

Usha produces Bags, Handbags, Belts, Luggage and Device Covers from genuine eco-friendly and traditional leathers, with embellished decorative ttings representing traditional, ethnic and modern culture. These accessories are fashion statement for the young and trendy customers in Paris, London and New York.

2. Bags in Faux Leather


Fancy Bags, Handbags, Belts, Luggage and Device Covers produced from faux leather that o ers the rich appearance and feel of leather at a friction of the cost of genuine leather. Value addition is done with high quality ttings and decorative embellishments. These beautiful accessories command premium shelf spaces in Worlds premium stores all over Europe and North America due to it's high quality of raw materials, ttings and perfection in workmanship.

3. Bags Travel Goods in Textiles


Our master artisans produce Bags, Handbags, Belts, Luggage and Device Covers from textile materials including canvas, handloom, durrie, prints, zari, patchwork and ethnic fabrics, enriched with embellishments representing a unique blend of traditional, ethnic and modern culture. Value addition is done with decorative beads, tinsel, danglers and other sparklers. These accessories are customers rst preference due to high quality raw materials & ttings as well as superb workmanship at an a ordable price. 4 . Fair Trade Fashion Jewelry


Ushas artisans also produce a wide range of high fashion jewelry like necklaces, earrings, bangles, bracelets and other jewelry items made from metallic materials, wood, horn, bone, leather, beads and glass with embellishments to go with all kinds of out ts. These economical items are handcrafted by artisans who have perfected the ne art of jewelry making into highest level of excellence. The jewelry is a perfect gifting idea with high-perceived value. The quality of exuberance speaks for itself in the rich luster and looks without taxing the pockets of consumers.

5. Scarves / Stoles
Our organization is engaged in providing a fascinating range of printed scarves, shawls and stoles in di erent fabrics with a variety of designs and colors. All these merchandise is available in di erent shapes with rolled, hemmed or tassled edges, these beautifully printed scarves contain oral, animal and geometrical designs. Fabric & Size: The fabrics used are cotton, viscose, chi on, silk, velvet brasso, burnout, polymide, Polyester chi on, georgette and many other varities in sizes 100 x 100, 90 x 90, 105 x 105 as per the requirments. In case of shawls we do embroidery and hand work also.

Fair Trade Model Jewelry Workshop


Our complianced home based Jewelry workshop which successfully passed the audit for mainstream international prestigious buyers like Kohls, Monsoon, HNM, etc. is situated in a village district Meerut, Uttar Pradesh to create opportunities for the economically disadvantaged producers with transparency & accountability. This model workshop has been an example of producing hand-crafted jewelry for over a decade. This workshop is known for it's non-discriminating gender equality, as both, male and female producers are engaged in producing socially responsible ethically covered fair trade fashion jewelry business with a di erence for the mainstream world market. No child, bonded or forced labour is involved in production of any merchandise, at any stage. All the children of engaged producing craft-persons go to school. The jewelry producers are paid fair wages / minimum wages according to the state of Uttar Pradesh. The grassroots artisans are also covered under health insurance to get bene ts in case of any medical emergency or needed treatment. The producers keep the workshop clean and do not use any hazardous chemicals ensuring the workshop is environment friendly. All the female producers are allowed maternity leaves. All the producers are also given technical training to increase the quality of production in time. All the male as well as female producers work for 8 hours per day and Sunday is observed as a weekly holiday, making it 48 hours of work per week. All the records of attendance, materials, quality productivity and wages of their salaries are maintained regularly and audited by our social workers & HR sta time to time.

6. Soapstone Handicraft
Exotically hand-crafted soapstone handicrafts are produced at the Model Soapstone Workshop AGRA BAZAAR, for which Gorara and Palewa stones are procured from the clean mines situated in Central India and Rajasthan. The Model Soapstone Workshop is equipped with a unique underground dust sucking chamber, the only one of its kind in soapstone industry that makes it a unique eco-friendly workshop in an otherwise hazardous world. An all adult group of master artisans and craftsmen produce these excellent hand-crafted gurines, aroma lamps, di users, tea light holders, candle stands, photo-frames, mirrors, jars, cruet sets, bowls, plates, planters, vases, bath accessories book-ends, games and other object dart are hand-crafted by the most needy artisans.

In token of this commitment, Usha has irrevocably pledged 5% of its pro ts donated to World Family Forum with no strings attached to help it achieve its noble goals of social development and equity, while marketing its aesthetic products globally on the strength of quality, economy and customer satisfaction.

Usha has set highest standards to ensure that every product exported are produced in human dignity, perfectly hand-crafted and free of any defects at most reasonable and competitive prices to ensure sustainment of livelihood of grassroots artisans and craftsmen. WORLD FAMILY a forum, conducts regular inspections, assessments and evaluation of all production centers to ensure that every product produced and marketed is free of human tears , fears and exploitation, certi ed genuinely fair, clean and green. Religious tolerance, secularism, equality and fairness in dealings are the hall mark of Ushas work culture.

An irrevocable & con rmed L/C : Letter of Credit payable 100% at site from any Prime World Bank or 40% Advance with ICPO and 60% on intimation of readiness of shipment through TT.
