e-WOOF is a bi-monthly

e-newsletter produced by a small group of Wyoming dog rescuers in an effort to highlight shelter dogs in critical need of help.

e-WOOF spotlights many dogs that face euthanasia within days unless they are rescued, fostered, or adopted.
Transport can be arranged, in most cases, to approved adoptive or foster homes or rescue organizations. Please help us! These are good, healthy, happy, loving dogs that are out of luck and out of time. We urge you to crosspost to e-mail lists and Web groups, forward to friends, send to co-workers, and share with family. We hope our efforts, combined with yours, will save many lives.

BROCK is a German Shepherd mix, 1.3 years old. Brock is a beautiful young guy with great markings. He likes people and other dogs. He will let you give him hip scritches all day long! He enjoys his walks and hopes to have a new family adopt him and spend time with him going for a walk or giving him his beloved hip scritches!

Black Dog Animal Rescue -- Cheyenne, WY Contact: 307-214-6600 or bdar@bdar.org BEBE is a 3 year old pure bred Silky Terrier, about 11 pounds.
Bebe is slow to make a good impression but given a couple of days she will warm up to her people and turn into a sweetie! She is house trained and would be best as an only pet in an adult home.

TWITCH is a 4 year old purebred Blue Heeler. Twitch is a small

and stocky guy. He is fairly easy going and very quiet. Not a high energy dog but certainly capable of keeping you company on walks or leisurely outdoor activities. Kids, cats, and other dogs are okay with this guy but hes also content to be by himself. herd mix. Tristan lacks confidence in new situations but he is used to being loved and cared for and it shows in his relationships with people he knows. He loves other dogs, is getting pretty good with cats, and knows several commands. Tristan should live in an adult only home.

In most cases, time is limited for the dogs featured in our newsletters--with that in mind, we try to get the word out to as many contacts as we can using this publication. Work on behalf of the animals for finding them homes and/ or rescues comes from many, many sources and is an ONGOING effort dealt with a sense of urgency. In some cases there may be times when a sudden adoption and/or rescue comes through at the exact time our newsletter is issued. This is an unforeseen circumstance on our part--while we certainly understand the crossover may cause frustrations for you as the prospective adopter of an animal we hope you join us in rejoicing for an animal being saved. MORGAN. This young black Lab mix is a long time BDAR resident. Morgan is also slow to warm up to new people but treats and belly rubs certainly help! She takes her cues from other dogs, so shed do best in a home with another dog who is confident and well socialized. Morgan is reliable in the house unsupervised but cannot be left alone outside. Shell need a 6-foot fence for playtime and potty breaks. Kids more than 10 years old and other dogs would be great for her. ____________

He gets along with most small dogs, cats, and children. He would be great in a family with kids or someone who lives an active lifestyle. He needs someone who can play with him and keep up! He is energetic outside, but also calms down when he comes indoors. He is looking for his forever family! BO is a 5 year old Catahoula/Heeler mix. He is a very playful and
energetic guy! He loves to go for walks and runs, and one of his favorite things is the tennis ball. He could play fetch for hours! He needs a lot of land to run around, and he needs an active family. This sweet boy has been with us for more than a year and is ready to find a home! BO

The Dog and Cat Shelter, Inc. -- Sheridan, WY Contact: 307-674-7694 or Cel at dogncat@fiberpipe.net MAX is a six-year-old Treeing Hound mix. He was very shy and nervous around people and we believe he was hunted a lot but never got much attention or affection. Max has made a lot of progress and now really enjoys being petted and fussed over. He is still shy but is very friendly and sweet once he trusts you. He gets along well with other dogs and pretty much just goes his own way. He would really like to get out of the shelter. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. PEPPER is a 3 year old Schnauzer mix. She can be a little shy, but gets over that quickly once you pet her. She does well with other dogs, kids of all ages, and even cats. Pepper loves to play, is very easy to groom, and is housetrained. She is also spayed and current on vaccinations.
