Project currently underway are: Re:BLOCK program - Benchmarking study on sample existing homes to cost out payback/benefits of energy retrofits. Hillcrest St. Extension - By placing a 1.7 acre municipal property in trust, the development of eight 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom detached units are targeting towards downsizing seniors or young families. Further developments have been proposed on municipal sides near the Arts Centre, behind the Academy, or Maple St. extension.

Development could utilize proximity/ connection to minewater geothermal to promote investment/development in clean energy technology businesses Strathlorn Nursery is a large area of potential development as a resource for biomass, development of biofuels and hub for local food networks Maple St. extension boasts service ready lots for development.
