Pointing System: 1st: 10,000 pts; 2nd: 5,000pts 1. Each team is required to submit 26 names (at least 3 per year level) to the Non-Academics department on December 11,2012. 2. Substitution is allowed on the contest itself provided 0.5% deduction will apply per person. 3. The said participants will be part of an on-the-spot stage contest. 4. Other rules and regulationsand criteria for judging will be announced on the contest day itself. 5. Non-submission of names will result to the elimination of the team from this contest, thus no point will be given.

A Calling to Be ONE JPIA HYMN Music Video Making Contest
Pointing System: 1st: 6000pts; 2nd: 3000pts 1. All characters must be a bona fide member of JPIA-PLM. Characters shall refer to actors and actresses who will appear in the music video. 2. There is no restriction as to the number of participants but atleast 1 person per year level must be present. 3. The setting of the music video is as well not restricted but PLM campus should play a big role in the music video. 4. Use of costumes, props and other materials is allowed. 5. Lyrics of the JPIA HYMN must be included in the music video (like the music videos played in MYX). 6. The video must be submitted on December 11, 2012.

Criteria for Judging: 30%Relevance to the theme (JPIA Hymn) 25%Innovativeness and Creativeness 20%Originality and Creativity 15%Execution (effective use of technology) 10%Overall Effect 100%

The Sing-Off
Pointing System: 1st: 10,000 pts; 2nd: 5,000pts 1. The Sing-Off is a group musical competition. 2. Only one entry is allowed per team, composed of 6-12 participants, including the musical players. 3. The participants should render their own renditions of the songs chosen. 4. The performance of the contestants may take up to 10 minutes only. Deduction of 0.5% per 30 seconds will apply for any excess time. 5. Only musical instruments are allowed to be used in the performance. Preparation time of 5 minutes will be provided. Any excess will result to 0.2% per 30 seconds deduction to the final average score. 6. Teams must provide their own musical instruments. (Drums are not allowed) 7. Contestants must wear clothing appropriate to the genre of music they will be performing. Vulgar clothing, PLM regular and PE uniforms will not be allowed. 8. Each performing group is asked to sing a 2-minutes Christmas carol after their performance. It will not be part of the graded performance. 9. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable. 10. Any violation in the mechanics will result to deductions(0.5% per line item) Criteria for judging: 40% - Voice Quality 30% - Consistency, Vibrancy and Dynamics 30% - Blending and coordination 100%
