In addition Lear Siegler has issued Service Bulletins 23032-04, 23032-05, and 23032-06 which cover the modification of the various Starter-Generator Assemblies. These Bulletins, when complied with, will reduce spline wear of the Starter-Generator Gearshaft. For those operators wishing to convert their 250 Model Engines to the wet spline Starter-Generator Gearshaft, it is suggested that you contact your authorized 250 Distributor to coordinate the planned modifications and thus assure availability of all required hardware prior to conversion of either the engine or the Starter-Generator. The 250 Engine Distributor may act as an agent for obtaining the Lear-Sigler Kit, or operators may obtain this StarterGenerator Kit directly from the following Lear-Siegler Distributors:
