Families First invites you to join us for lunch on Fridays during the month of March. A great time to try new recipes from Healthy Eating Alliance of PEI Nutrition Month Challenge Please call the center to register, so we know we have enough food for everyone

Families First is moving!! Our family resource centre is getting a new home. We will have a beautiful big, bright spot in the former Legion/Generation X building (located besides the Montague Junior High School) building on Kennedy Street. We plan to be settled in right after Easter.

Join us at Families First on Monday mornings from 10-11:30 for Cooking with Kids. Come prepare a healthy snack using fruits & veggies. Get ideas & recipes for healthy snacks that keep kids going! Reasons to Cook with your kids:
1) It encourages healthy eating habits. Kids are much more likely to develop a taste for healthy foods if they are involved in putting the recipes together. 2) Cooking gets kids interested in food. And if you have picky eaters on your hands like many of us do, getting them to try new things can be pretty challenging. Getting kids excited about cooking will give them more incentive to try foods they normally wouldn't go near.

Baby Club: Tuesday mornings 10-11:30. All parents with babies newborn to 12 months are welcome to attend. This is a time to relax, meet other new parents, share your challenges and success. There is childcare available for older siblings.

Join us for Healthy family meals without breaking the bank. On March 5th from 10-11:30 with Guest Speaker Marianne Peters, Community Dietician.
The Easter Bunny will be visiting Families First at the Montague Centre on March 25, Vernon Bridge, March 27, & Belfast, March 28. Bring along your camera for pictures.
