We are all very excited about our May And the Oscar Goes To productions at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Recital pictures will take place April 15th through April 27th during your dancer's class time. If you are unsure of your picture time, please ask your dancer's teacher (picture schedules will be emailed and are also posted on studio doors & our website bonisdance.com). Recital tickets will go on sale Saturday, April 27th at 10:00 a.m. through ticketmaster.com. We have many dance classes that are still in need of stage mothers for our recital productions. Please let your dancer's teacher know if you can be available for this very important job assignment. Our stage mother meeting is Thursday, April 4th, 7:00 p.m. at the studio in the yellow studio for our new stage Mothers. If you are not able to attend this informative meeting, please pick up your packet from Miss Terry after the meeting date. Thank you in advance for your time. RECITAL PROGRAM ADS If you would like to purchase a personal and/or business ad in our recital program for your business or organization, prices are: 1/2 page $100.00; full page $175.00. (full page size is 8" x 10"; 1/2 page is 8" x 5".) Deadline to Miss Terry for your camera ready ad is Monday, April 8th. Your ad will appear in 3000 programs and will be distributed at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion productions. Registration for our 2013-14 Summer & Fall dance season will take place online this year beginning Saturday, April 27th for our existing students. We will have registration available at the studio beginning Monday, April 29th (12:00-6:00) & Tuesday through Thursday, May 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Saturday, May 4th registration will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. We will also be taking registration for our very popular summer dance camps (ages 4-8). Activities for the 5 day camp includes jazz, folk, cheerleading, tumbling, drill team, karate, acting, talent show, hair & make-up, social graces and etiquette lunch. Class size is limited. Registration will be open to the public beginning May 6TH. Registration packets will be sent home with your dancer in April. Please make plans to reserve a spot for your dancer. Our classes will fill quickly. Auditions for the Woodlands Dance Company (and the 27th annual performances of The Nutcracker) will take place Sunday, April 28th at the studio. Dancers must have completed a full year of ballet technique and be 7 years old (as of Sept. 1, 2013) to audition. Woodlands Dance Company members are required to attend their summer ballet class. For more information and audition times, please ask your dancer's teacher or contact the studio. Audition forms may be picked up at the front desk or downloaded and printed from our website.
PRE.COTILLION PROGRAM: Dates: June 26th, 27th, & 28th and Graduation Saturday the 29th. $150 10:00 11:30 Session I (Ages 4, 5, pre K and K); 12:00-1:30 Session II (6,7,8) Pre- Cotillion offers instruction in the area of manners in the home, in restaurants, as well as in school. Peanuts, the Friendly Elephant, acts as the students mascot as he learns the rules of etiquette with them. Includes a Graduation Ceremony.
