5 Days of Fun: August 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 2009

The PGX is coming and there is a lot to get excited about!

The fair date has changed from the second weekend in August to the THIRD weekend and we have stretched out the
fun from four to FIVE days! The 97th Prince George Exhibition will be held Wednesday August 12 thru to and including
Sunday August 16, 2009.

Cowboys and Cowgirls, horses…lots of horses will provide high energy excitement with the sanctioned Team Penning
and Draft Horse competitions. A Bull-A-Rama on the Friday and Saturday evenings will astound the crowds at the
outdoor Round Up Arena and the axes will ring once again at the PGX with a CANLOG Logger competition! This is all in
addition to 4-H competitions and activities, sheep dog trials and top dog agility show, light horse competitions and
other activities to showcase Agriculture, including an expanded Agriculture Alley, specifically designed to engage Youth
in Agriculture. The Home Arts & Horticulture division and an expanded Quilt Fair will delight fairgoers, as will the Tea
Garden, Food Fair, Firefighters Challenge, and a new addition to the celebrated and unique Heritage Lane. Discovery
Place I and II will feature an array of vendors offering goods and services that you often can’t get anywhere else and a
first rate entertainment line-up is in the works, including variety and strolling acts and the Celebration! Community
Stage showcasing our local talent. This is just the tip of the hay stack, so to speak as the show continues to grow and
take shape over the coming months.

We welcome West Coast Amusements back this year with the LARGEST midway (30 rides!) to ever grace the
fairgrounds…for the thrills, shrills and chills that will have fairgoers coming back a second and third day and leave them
weak in the knees!

Late in 2008 we issued a Vendor and Concessionaire Survey and the number of responses was tremendous! As a result
of the feedback, we have taken a lot of good advice from those that know best: our Vendors and Concessionaires. The
winner of the complimentary space at the 2009 PGX is Get Snapped! Congratulations to Brent and Susan!

Please read this package carefully and forward any questions or concerns…of course, book your space as a
Concessionaire in the Food Court for the 2009 PGX right away to get the space you want. It is first come, first served and
bookings will be accepted beginning February 16, 2009. Book and pay in full prior to March 1, 2009 and receive 10% off!
