What is it? A tuition-and-fees scholarship granted to juniors and
seniors of the Loyola Schools of Humanities and the Social Sciences who wish to pursue programs relevant to future careers in journalism.
Who may apply? Juniors and seniors in such courses as
Communication, Literature, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology and Anthropology, and Economics, who are willing to design their programs with a view to an eventual career in print journalism.
How does a student apply? Pick up an application form at the
Department of Communication, or the Office of Admissions, or the Office of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. You may also download the application form online via the Com Departments Facebook page. Submit the forms to the Department of Communication no later than 1 April 2013, 5:00 p.m. The applicant will then be called for an interview by the Scholarship Committee.
Scholarship awards will be available for the first semester of SY 2013-2014.
