Policy Recommendations

The policies that we have come up for this case can be largely applied to any organization which faces the same core problems that we have stated above. These policies will help to improve the overall performance of the organization. Development of an informational cell: The company needs to build up an informational cell whose job will be to spread out information regarding the work activities of the various departments of the company. This will greatly improve the levels of coordination in the organization. Building of cross functional teams : These are teams which consist of experts of different fields who work together as a unit for the completion of a task. It helps the company to co-ordinate more efficiently. Also another positive point of this policy is that these experts are well informed about the job they need to do. Development of a more accountable culture: This is a very important need for the company to make sure that it has a sound accountability culture in place. This culture is basically linked up with the process of controlling. The company needs to regularly measure the performances of its employees and departments. These performances then need to be compared with a set standard in the company. And after doing that comparative analysis the company needs to see which department or which employee is performing up to the mark and who is under performing. Then only the company decides what it needs to do to improve the performance levels. The culture should be built upon the principal that everyone will be responsible for his/ her actions. Performance based incentives bonuses: The company should award performance based incentives to motivate the people who are under performing. This will improve the production levels and the growth levels of the organization.

Conclusion
We firmly believe that by following these guidelines stringently any organization can eliminate the stated core problems and work more effectively. The reason we believe that is because these policies are FAP; functional, adaptable, practical.
