Units:

Reading:
We had to put a pause on Daily 4 since the students were busy making their Keynotes for their research presentations. But now that were moving on to the actual presentations, we are back on Daily 4! Please note that your child is required to read 20 minutes every night as part of their homework.

This week we will spend some time reviewing and finish the current unit on the Polar Regions.

The students and teachers alike are very sad about the news and we wanted to give them a warm blessing as they move to a different place. We will have a small farewell party on 3/21. More information will be sent out soon.

Writing:

The next writing project the students will work on is creative essays. This is one of the rare occasions where the students get to choose their own topics. We will discuss more about writing traits to help them write effectively.

Math:
We will begin Unit 8:Perimeter and Area. Students will be challenged to solve related problems that involve fractions, multiplication, and division.

Bible:
We will continue learning the Book of Ruth. Students will learn about some of the Jewish culture through the story of Ruth.

Do Hard Things
Dont let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12)
