Prayer Household of the Month Each month well pray for a specific unit.

For the month of March, please pray for the Philippi unit. Pray for the Raleigh unit as they adjust to life with a baby in the house.

Meet the Philippi Unit!

Each month we will use this newsletter as a way to learn more about whats going on throughout Service Adventure and to get to know people in a specific location. This month we are focusing on the Philippi, West Virginia Service Adventure unit. Enjoy getting to know a bit about who they are and what they are doing this year.

The Philippi unit has added two members for a short time. Shannon Weniger is living in the area for a few months and Melanie Engelke is completing an internship during the month of February.

I play the banjo, enjoy riding bike, and really really love genealogy! If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? I would go to London England. What do you enjoy most about West Virginia? I enjoy the mountains and fall colors. Best SA memory? My best memory was when Susan came to visit and we went to Black Water Falls and then ate HUGE burritos at Hellbenders. A hellbender is a large salamander. It was a really good time. Favorite Bible verse? Isaiah 40:28-31

Hmm hard decision, either Karate Kid or a Super Ninja! What do you do for fun? I love to read and being adventurous climbing rocks! I really like taking karate lesson and hiking at Audra State Park. If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? I would go to Australia. What do you enjoy most about West Virginia? I love the beautiful mountains & scenery! I love swimming, shopping and hanging with friends! If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? Haiti What do you enjoy most about West Virginia? I enjoy the nature and friendly people. Hmm at this point in life Id have to go with SUPER MOMMY but tempted to ditto Ines answer =) What do you do for fun? I love hiking, riding horses and garage sale shopping. If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? Well everywhere but for starters Africa, Alaska and all of Central & South America! What do you enjoy most about West Virginia? I love the hiking and rock climbing at Seneca Rocks but the wonderful people at our church are the biggest blessing! Best SA memory? I love the trips we all take together!
