The FamilyA Legacy

Over the last 75 years, Edelbrock has proven itself as a leader and pioneer within the automotive aftermarket industry. From the day Vic Edelbrock Sr. went over 121 miles per hour, 3 weeks before Pearl Harbor; to the Sprint Cup Series cars that race every Sunday with Edelbrock manifolds, Edelbrock has a legacy of going fast. From the hand tools that Vic Sr. used, to the state-ofthe-art machines used in production today, Edelbrock continues its tradition of making the highest quality aftermarket parts right here in the United States.

The FamilyA Legacy

More importantly, over those 75 years, Edelbrock has remained an industry leader that values family and focuses on the future of our Automotive Aftermarket. For there to be an Automotive Aftermarket Future, we must establish a Council dedicated to the preservation of our industrys legacy founded on the reputation its leaders.

FamilyLegacyGoodwill
Goodwill cannot be insured. The only way to retain it is to keep earning it. Goodwill is the only asset competition cannot destroy. No one can buy goodwill; we must earn it.

Mission Statement
The Edelbrock Family Foundation seeks to empower our youth with self-awareness, self-determination and self-reliance for todays life challenges. Our family strives to provide a roadway for Americas automotive impassioned youth that they may become our next generation of Aftermarket consumers, as well as innovators, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and enthusiasts for our industry. These Edelbrock Next Gen Roadwarriors will be the automotive engineers that dream our industry through this century into the next. To ensure that science does not leave the horseless carriage by the side of the road (as it did the horse), Edelbrock Family Foundation Scratch Pads will train, certify and inspire the next generation through vocational programs and competitions with the collaboration of corporations, organizations and associations that share a passion for educating Americas youth. Our family and our supporters have a primal passion for educating those with special needs. While all American youth are welcome at Scratch Pads, our flagship program is Rev'ved Up 4 Kids dedicated to creating greater awareness on the local and national levels of The Center For Learning Unlimited, a Torrance, California based institution. The Center is a best match for bright students identified as Asperger's Syndrome (ASD), Bipolar Disorder or PPD/PPD-NOS (Pervasive Developmental Disorder/Not Otherwise Specified).

From this base program, Scratch Pads will collaborate with other like minded organizations dedicated to educating and supporting Americas youth. The Edelbrock Next Gen Roadwarriors program will open doors to dreams for our industrys future enthusiasts through contests and competitions. The Edelbrock Performance Academy will be the vocational school needed to train and certify our communitys young adults as the mentors and teachers for Americas next generation roadwarriors.

About The Founder

Christi Edelbrock was born into a family that many consider an automotive dynasty. Christis grandfather, Vic Edelbrock Sr., founded Edelbrock Performance in 1938 with the purpose of making anything with four wheels and an engine go fast. Over time, Christis father, Vic Jr., got behind the wheel of the family company and things really took off. Under his guidance, Vic Jr. has been able to create a multi-million dollar company that is considered an industry leader in performance and quality. Growing up, Christi always had an affinity towards cars; however, it was competitive show jumping that really excited her at a young age. Christi competed nationally and even participated at the Olympic level. After a successful career in the horse business, Christi switched gears to a different form of horse power, back to her roots at the family business. She has been involved in all aspects of the business, including foundry operations to supply chain, to business development. With an eye on the future, Christi has embraced the importance of educating todays youth and is becoming a catalyst for change in the industry. By partnering with a variety of organizations including universities, cultural institutions, high schools, specialty learning institutions and after school programs, Christi has created a coalition that is dedicating to fostering an innovative environment for students to learn and develop.

A Word From The Founder

The vision for the future, the time is now!
Creating, engaging and stimulating the next generation of automotive enthusiasts is my passion. Having grown up in the aftermarket industry I have a unique vision of the past, present and the future. My path in the education process in this industry has been hard-earned, complex and challenging. Being a woman in a male dominated industry is not the only challenge.

These days, young individuals need to be exposed to opportunity, all kinds of opportunity. Within the automotive segment, students mostly hear from the major manufacturers, not the aftermarket. The aftermarket industry is a giant learning lab, an industry of opportunity, with passion for the future and career paths forward.

Join us and our team to be a catalyst for change and provide miles of
opportunities for young individuals. We have miles to go and roads to conquer, please be part of my team helping change lives, supercharging Americas youth!
