Aug-June: Skills: Dock Start up & Shut Down Command +Q = quit program Resize a window Camera (external digital and/or built-in) Microphone (external digital and/or built-in) Terminology: Login Cursor Scroll bar Folder Internet/Browser Application

Aug-June: Use word processing in real-world context (e.g: write stories, poems, letters, reports) Create and save a new document Open an existing le and save it Use keyboarding software to obtain a prociency of 2 WPM.

Feb-March: Integrate 1 or more literacy concepts into project Integrate 1 or more numeracy concepts into project Generally projects utilize the IB Design Cycle as a framework to structure the creative learning environment. Coordinate your exact daily classroom schedule in Project Lab w/ Ed Tech coordinator. Notes: 1. Large blocks of time are highly preferred with 50 minutes being a good minimum benchmark. 2.The Project Lab is not a special; e.g. teachers should activity engaged in the Project Lab learning environment.

August: Collaborate with Ed Tech specialist to record an audio le of student reading & 1 scan of writing sample. September: Collaborate with primary school colleagues, principal, curriculum coordinator, and Ed Tech specialist to develop/update a consistent ePortfolio template for the year. January: Collaborate with Ed Tech specialist to assist students with inserting digital content into their ePortfolio, and backing up the document. May: Collaborate with Ed Tech specialist to assist students with inserting digital content into their ePortfolio, and backing up the document.

Oct-Nov: Collaborate with Ed Tech specialist for ideas/support on how to connect your UoI with students/ parents/experts from around the world. Telepresence: Your grade level will be given dedicated time in the telepresence room to connect with our friends at Chadwick School.

Aug-June: Demonstrate proper care of hardware (computer, peripherals, and other equipment) and media Discuss basic issues related to responsible use of technology systems, software, and information including personal consequences of inappropriate use.

Aug-June: iPhoto is the highlight application for your grade. Classroom integration ideas from the Ed Tech specialist will focus on this applications. Also additional funds may have been allocated to support special projects using this application. Professional development Collaborate with Ed Tech specialist to generate integration ideas.

August: We utilize student Tech Captains as our rst line of tech support in the classroom. Please choose one ofcial Tech Captain in your classroom. You can nominate other tech helpers, but the Ed Tech Dept will be training 1 tech captain per classroom throughout the year.

*CIS has an integrated technology model with no stand alone or pullout classes/electives in grades preK-5. The 1 year technology integration roadmap sets minimal expectations knowing that many teachers will far exceed this level of integration. Symbol Key:
