WHY THEN THE CONDEMNATION?

You are welcome to part three of the righteousness series; and by the end of this part be assured of understanding righteousness. In part two we saw the part played by the blood of Jesus Christ toward our righteousness, and I would like to finish this lesson with the ministry of condemnation. Jesus said in John 3 that 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Have you read it very well? No one that believes on Him is condemned. Thats why Romans 8:1 says that There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. Why is it that people still walk under condemnation? When I was asking my self this , the Spirit taught me from this very verse ..who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [KJV] Lets try to break it down. Most people as I told you in part one walk in the conscience of the flesh than the Spirit. Their minds are focused on things of the flesh than of the Spirit. You think you have understood it? No, you havent. They are conscience about themselves than Christ Himself. They are focused on what they do and not what Christ did and does, they are focused on their weaknesses other than the strength of Christ in them. They are sensitive towards sin other than the righteousness of God. This all originates from the ministry of condemnation-Romans 3:9. This ministry is enhanced by the law. For the law brings about self conscience; showing you how hard working you need to be in order to please God, be right with Him. It shows you the task that you have ahead of you to the extent that you may some times feel that salvation is a burden. Some times you even ask your self .Who shall ascend into heaven... and again .Who shall descend into the deep. Because you think things are for struggle and the weak lose out. No! Thats not right. This is what the bible says 6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)[ Romans 10:] Its through the ministry of the law that people become conscience about sin; and its embarrassing that most people who have stood up to minister are ministering the law, showing people how sinful they are, condemning them, making Jesus Christ a burden giver other than a burden bearer. 7 What shall we say then? is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. [Romans 7] The more someone gets to know about sin the more he will sin. The more you will struggle not to sin, the more you will sin, and the end result will be condemnation. Why do you think most people who fall into mistakes; when they go on showing and talking about their mistakes they even become worse off? Its because their conscience towards sin is stirred up, that they try to get out of such sin and they fall in to it again. Get an example where your parent keeps a certain amount of money some where and you are ignorant about it. How about if the same parent this time around is leaving for work

and he/she tells you that dont steal my money that is under the pillow of my bed What do you think will come to your mind? You will start struggling-trying to stop your self from stealing the money, which was not the case before you knew. Thats the same thing that the ministry of the law does. What is the go ahead? If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.[KJV][1John 2:29]; and NKJV shows it that he who practices righteousness is born of God This is not working out righteousness but practicing; and you very well know that people practice either what they have or know. For example you cant do practical part of a subject unless you have learnt the theoretical part of it. This is how people mess up. We already have the righteousness of God, and so we just need to practice it. And this is not by our own initiative but by the grace of God. For no one can practice this righteousness by his own, since its from God. For even the bible says that sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law but under grace. And Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness This simply means that righteous finds its way through you. You are automatically a servant of righteousness [the kind of righteousness that is in you not out side] Therefore its not that you are now not righteous that at a certain moment you shall be one, no. You are already righteous, and you just need to yield to it that it may be manifested.

We already have the righteousness of God, and so we just need to practice it. And this is not by our own initiative but by the grace of God
