"Volleyball for Veterans" is coming up on April 14th. We are hosting a 16-team beach volleyball tournament right in our backyard. Each team will pay an entrance fee and it will cost people $5 to come in and watch. All of the proceeds are going to the Wounded Warrior Project. We are having the band, Doctors and Lawyers, play throughout the tournament, and we are cooking hamburgers and hotdogs or crawfish for spectators to eat. Chubbies is sponsoring the tournament and providing some free gifts for raffles and the winners of the tournament. We have also been getting the brothers involved in weekly community service projects. This is called the Sunday service initiative and we get brothers to serve every Sunday for a few hours. The service projects are usually cleaning up at the Black Warrior River or helping with tornado relief and Habitat for Humanity.
