    2000: Tun Dr. Mahathir, Prime Minister decided Kenaf as alternative crop for economic values. 2004: Government planned Kenaf as alternative for tobacco (related to AFTA). 2005: Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodity take charge of Kenaf. 2008 :Gazetted The Act for Kenaf & Tobacco. Malaysia Kenaf & Tobacco Board (LKTN) 2009: LKTN planted 300 Hectares of Kenaf. 2010 : LKTN plants 1,800 Hectares of Kenaf. 2011 : LKTN plans to plant 3,000 Hectares of Kenaf.

    Future material. Able to replace fiber glass, wood and other synthetic material. Absorb Carbon Monoxide: 1 Ha = 40 cars per year. etc Save World : reduce tree cutting.

    30 Hectares of Kenaf Farm with 300 tons output of raw Kenaf per annum. 2 Hectares for Verification Plot beside the Factory in Kelantan as a research plot. 28 Hectares from a collaboration project with hardcore poor people in order to increase their living income. Originally the land has never been planted for more than 40 years. A success story for the peoples and Everise. Everise has own facilities / machineries for Plantation such as Tractor, Seeder and Forage Harvester.
